You can calculate the maturity amount of the SBI Amrit Vrishti FD Scheme manually. The formula for calculating the maturity amount (A) of SBI Fixed Deposit is given by:
A = P(1 + r/n)^(nt)}
where,
A is the maturity amount,
P is the principal amount,
r is the annual interest rate,
n is the number of times interest is compounded per year,
t is the tenure in years.
Example 1: For General Public (6.6% p.a.)
Let’s assume you invest ₹2 lakhs on your SBI Amrit Vrishti FD. Here is the calculation for the maturity amount:
Given:
Formula: A = P * (1 + R/N)^(N*T)
Calculation:
A = 200000 * (1 + 0.066/4)^(4*1.216) A = 200000 * (1.018125)^4.864 A ≈ ₹216,817.
Therefore, the maturity amount for a ₹2,00,000 investment in the SBI Amrit Vrishti FD scheme for a general customer would be approximately ₹216,817.
Example 2: For Senior Citizens (7.75% p.a.)
Let's calculate the maturity amount for a senior citizen investing ₹2 lakhs in the SBI Amrit Vrishti FD.
Given:
Formula:
A = P * (1 + R/N)^(N*T)
Calculation:
A = 200000 * (1 + 0.0735/4)^(4*1.216) A = 200000 * (1.019375)^4.864 A ≈ ₹218,797.
Therefore, the maturity amount for a ₹200,000 investment in the SBI Amrit Vrishti FD scheme for a senior citizen would be approximately ₹218,797.
